We're looking for a new roommate for our home!
~~ABOUT THE PLACE~~~
* 2-bed, 1-bath, bi-level town home in a nice gated community located in Roslindale;
* Semi-private backyard;
* In-unit laundry;
* Hardwood floor throughout the first level (living room and kitchen and dining area); carpeted throughout the bedrooms on the second level;
* Room could come furnished if you wish (with a twin-size bed, a desk, and a chair);
* All common areas i.e. living-room, dining-room are fully furnished, and clean, responsible person is welcome to share use of the furniture
~~~ABOUT THE COMMUNITY/AMENITIES CLOSE BY~~~~
* Free parking inside the community for residents; short-term guest parking available as well;
* If you're taking public transit, bus stop is right outside the community, with multiple bus lines of 15min taking you to the orange line;
* Gym available for residents free of charge;
* Community is very welcoming, super family friendly and safe, with a lot of school kids hanging out;
* Professional management - professional, for real - after a few months of living here, I have been more than satisfied with the service of the community and the professionalism of the management company: they're prompt and responsive when solving problems, and most importantly, they're efficient, and friendly; ***IN SNOWY DAYS LIKE THESE, THEY ARE MOST HELPFUL FOR TREATING ROAD SURFACES AND REMOVING SNOW! ***
* Pet policy: only certain kinds of animals are allowed by management on the property (i.e. cats); dogs are NOT allowed; no more than 1 pet could be allowed per household;
* Nature (a big reservation) right next by, direct trail from the community;
* Large golf course right behind the community;
* Eating, CVS right outside community, and more restaurants, stores and shopping within walking distance
~~~ABOUT US~~~
* My boyfriend and I live in the bigger bedroom of the house;
* We are both young professionals in our mid-20s. My boyfriend is a research assistant at Northeastern University, and I work for an arts organization in the city;
* We are a low key couple living a very simple lifestyle. We are both busy working during the day, and come home in the evening - usually do some cooking - and that's it. During weekends we either do some shopping, go for a little day trip/a small getaway, or just enjoy the peace at home;
* We have no pets, but we are totally pet friendly as long as we all get along :) my boyfriend has lived with cats since he was a child, so - if you do have a kitty, we're open to that;
* More importantly, we do enjoy the peace at home after a long day/week from work so we don't throw parties. We're not opposed to friends coming over for dinner or gathering, not at all, as long as it's not a regular thing or crazy loud/disturbing.
Well, thank you so much for reading my lengthy post... anyway, we're both respectful and easygoing non-smokers, who are happy to make friendships. We hope to find a new roommate that share the same credentials. Your portion of the rent would be $800, and we are hoping to find a January 1st move-in. Utilities wise, hot water and heat are included. Internet and electricity are shared and generally cost less than $40/person each month. If you think we are a right fit for you, send me an email!
