I am an experienced ESL teacher who is looking for an independent, responsible, female student who wants to learn English and enjoy living close to beautiful Kitsilano Beach. This is perfect for a student who is attending an English school during the day, yet wants to both experience Vancouver life with their new friends, and increase their level of English faster through private tutoring on the weekends. My kitty and I are looking forward to welcoming you to our home (must be good with cats). We live in a very nice 3rd floor apartment. The building is quite new and the location is excellent. It’s just 15 minutes to Kitsilano Beach…and it’s just 2 minutes from the Broadway bus routes – including the #99, #9, and #14. Further, it is very convenient to the MacDonald bus route and the Granville bus routes. It is also one block away from two different parks, near shops, library, etc. It's an excellent location. In our homestay you get your own bedroom which is a good sized room and bathroom, 45 minutes of tutoring per week, as well as 2 meals per day (breakfast and dinner), laundry once a week, wifi-internet, and utilities.
